Located in Laredo Texas, this Festival was founded in summer of 2015, by Laredo Community College string faculty, Guillermo Teniente, low-strings instructor. This year's festival is housed at Laredo Community College, which is where all performances will take place.
The mission of this three day festival is to establish a pleasurable rehearsal and performance experience for all the music festival participants, present quality music performances to the community of Laredo through different music mediums such as solo, chamber and orchestral ensembles; and lastly, to provide educational workshops for music students of all levels provided by regional University Professors and/or Guest Artists.
Each evening, musicians will collaborate in a variety of recitals and/or concerts which will feature our own local musicians, and guest musicians from Iowa, Michigan, and all over Texas.
